Soluble in water (solubility 10°C 3.66, 20°C 4.06, 4.22, °c 4.4, 60°C 4.68, °C 4.89, 100°C5.08), hydrofluoric acid, slightly soluble in alcohol.
Aqueous solution is weak alkaline, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and into sodium fluoride, can corrode glass. Toxic!
Widely used in the coating industry for phosphating agents, agricultural pesticides, sealing materials, preservatives and other fields.
